OASIS Fine Arts and Crafts Gallery
Charles Garratt - Nature Patterns
A expansive September-only exhibit of large photographs on OASIS' mezzanine is on view. The works are a one-man show
by Charles Garratt, a photographer whose work is found in collections across the country. In this show of recent works,
Garratt challenges the viewer to see more than just the petals of flower or the waves in morning fog, but rather to see
themselves in a new way. A slide show will give away the secret of Garratt's more kaleidoscopic works during the opening on
Friday, September 3, 5pm to 7pm.
Featuring Brenda Fairweather - Basketry
Featured Artist for August/September Brenda Fairweather presents A Garden of Basketry.
Enjoy the delightful "front porch" she has created within the gallery to show her baskets.
They feature her signature grapevine handles and savory color combinations, as in her new
watermelon baskets!
